Opening day nears and a variety of activities are planned for the Saturday's farmers market beginning June 13th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local car group, Vintage Rollers will show off their beautiful antique restored cars for everyone to enjoy.
The vendors will have a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, natural hormone free beef, cheese, fresh eggs, berries and gourmet spices to help you prepare your summer meals. There is nothing like fresh locally grown produce and food products to enjoy and benefit your health. The pie lady will be back with her fantastic made from scratch fresh pies!
Don't miss the wonderful fresh produce and products from the area's gardeners, local retailers and farmers. There will also be handcrafted items including garden stepping stones, yard art items, potted plants and other items available throughout the summer.

Wow, can't wait for the market to open! It was great last year - lots of variety of produce and garden items. It was reasonably priced and a great chance to see people I don't get to see often because I work out of town.

We're looking forward to Elwood's Farmers Market opening. We travel most weekends in the summer through Elwood to the lake in northern Indiana and it will be great to get fresh fruit and vegetables on our way.
